William was the son of William Conliffe and Mary Gorman. On 21 1934 he married Jenette Baker and they had three sons: William, Michael and Tim. He was a senior account executive for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. William died at his home, 3216 Rock Creek Drive, at the age of 60.
