Elsie was born July 5th, 1917 in Rockford, IL. She graduated from Oconto High School in 1935 and was married to Michael T. Koller on August 10th, 1936 in Oconto, who passed away in 1986. She lived most of her life in Peshtigo, WI and lived the last ten years in Stevens Point, WI with her daughter, Jean Vande Laarschot.
Elsie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. While at Zion, she was a member of the Ladies Aid and became a Charter Member. She also belonged to the church choir and helped at dinners and funerals for many years. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Peshtigo and the Lincoln Center in Stevens Point where she became a master of Scrabble. She was a homemaker and also enjoyed baking, playing cards and board games, dancing and gardening. She loved pontooning at her daughter’s cottage, campfires with 'S’mores, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was the daughter of Godfrey & Esther Anderson and had two siblings that preceded her in death, Elna Munsey of Florida in 1995 and Elmer Anderson of Oconto, Wisconsin in 2008. Elsie is survived by three children, Michael (Dee) Koller of Green Bay, WI, Dan (Peggy) Koller of Green Bay WI and Jean Vande Laarschot of Stevens Point. She had seven grandchildren, Tori (Doug) Welhouse, Trudy (Brad) Strand, Mick (Jacki) Koller, Renee Vande Laarschot, Melissa (Terrence) Grimm, Matthew (Sheri) Koller and thirteen great grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tracy Sommers of Milwaukee, WI.
The family would like to thank the wonderful care provided by the entire staff at Saint Michael's Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 16, 2017, at St. Paul Lutheran Church 1919 Wyatt Ave. Stevens Point. Pastor Steve Hulke will officiate. Burial will take place in the spring at Glenwood Memorial Gardens Marinette. Visitation on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
