Pauline was the daughter of Benjamin Allen and Maggie Conliffe. Prior to 1936 she married the widower Herbert Eisenmenger (his wife Gladys died in 1933, also leaving behind two small children, Gloria and Herbert). Pauline died at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital of encephalomalacia arising from illness and accidents. She had been severely injured in a lighter fluid accident which hospitalized her. A short while later she was hospitalized again after suffering a diabetic coma. She went home again only to suffer a broken hip in a fall. She was 52.
