MRS. EVELYN PIPKIN FREEMAN

Mrs. Evelyn Pipkin Freeman age 48, of 600 Sunlit Lane, died Friday, January 9, 1981, at her hone. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday at Ebenezer Church with the Rev. John Carson officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with members of The Carolina Clowns serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Ebenezer's Women's Society.
Mrs. Freeman was born was born June 3, 1932 in Winston-Salem, NC, daughter of Mr. Vincent C. Pipkin of Kannapolis, NC and the late Lucy Pipkin.
Mrs. Freeman worked for the Charlotte Housing Authority and had served the Piedmont Courts Community for over 20 years. She was an active member of The Carolina Clowns and known as "Blossom." Mrs. Freeman was an active member of Ebenezer ARP Church and served as President of the Women's Society for the past three years.

*Margaret Evelyn Pipkin was named after both her maternal and paternal grandmother.

Gravesite Details

Ebenezer ARP Church sold location. The cemetery is now owned by maintained Forest Hills Church.
