Entertainer. She was best know as a member of Bing Crosby's singing ensemble "The Music Maids." As a member of the group, she appeared in numerous Hollywood musicals during the 1940s. One of eight siblings, she found her interest in performing at an early age and following graduation from high school, she began singing in a group called "The Williams Sisters." The trio received an engagement to perform on "The Kraft Music Hall Radio Show" on NBC, for which led to national exposure, in addition to touring the country. After leaving this ensemble, she joined Bing Crosby's backing group, "The Music Maids," with who she made her motion picture debut in the film "Broadway Melody of 1940" (1940, which starred Fred Astaire), in which they performed a rendition of the song "Begin the Beguine." She went on to appear in the following films "Hit Parade of 1943" (1943), "Hoosier Holiday" (1943), "Girl Crazy" (1943, which starred Mickey Rooney), "Yolanda and the Thief" (1945) and "Riff-Raff" (1947), prior retiring from the industry to raise her family. She died at the age of one-hundred and four.
