Dolores Lucille Ferree was born on September 27 1933 to Vern and Pauline (Smith) Ferree on the Ferree Family homestead south and east of Matheson CO. At the young age of 4, her mother passed away. Because of a law set by the state of Colorado, Dolores could not live in a home without a mother figure. Reluctantly, her father adopted her to Delbert and Hazel Wilgus. In April 1940, Dolores' father died. She grew up in Calhan CO. On January 19 1954, she married Mr Andrew Ervin Street in Colorado Springs CO. Raised in the Protestant church, Dolores not only knew the Lord, but lived in his likeness. She loved everyone she met, and never had anything bad to say about anyone. To her final day, she shared her beautiful smile with those around her. Dolores was a loving mother, and was survived by 5 children: Sherry, Brian, Debra, Kenneth and Michael; as well as 6 grandchildren, Cristina, Christopher, Andrew, Amy, Ryan and Sarah; and 4 great grandchildren, Janelle, Aubriana, Jillian and Eden. She was a sister to Byrl, Herbert, Phillip, Beulah, Gladys and surviving brother Paul. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ervin in 1986. On October 26 2015, she went to sleep with the angels and those who have passed before her. Dolores rests now in peace and love next to her beloved husband Ervin at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette CA.
