OBITUARY: Chessye Conwell Rowan, 90, of Lambert Drive, died October 9 at the Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Neshanic, after a brief illness.
Born in Elberton, Ga., Mrs Rowan spent most of her life in Pelham, N Y, where she was a physical education director in the Pelham school system.
After her retirement, she moved to Princeton to be with her Niece. Mrs. Sally Foss Hill.
In addition to Mrs. Hill, she is survived by four grandnieces and grandnephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10:30 in the Lady Chapel at Trinity Church, 33 Mercer Street. Burial will follow in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, Conn.
