Funeral service for Larry Lee Wright, 67, of Indiahoma, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel of Peace Mausoleum with Rev. Dennis Dawson officiating.

Mr. Wright passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on his birthday.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Larry was born on April 4, 1950 in Ashland, Kansas to Leslie Harold and Margaret (Volden) Wright. He grew up in Coldwater, Kansas where he attended school. In April of 1981, Larry began working for the Union Pacific Railroad as a BMWE Brotherhood of Maintenance Way and also for the Allied Federation and served as Vice Chairman. He worked for 32 years before retiring on June 1, 2013. While working for the railroad he served as a union rep. He married Helen F. Harris on April 3, 2006 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Larry enjoyed woodworking, remodeling, tilling his garden with his tractor, lawn work and raising his chickens for eggs. He was active in Genealogy and Ancestry and he spoiled his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Chasity Wright, of KS; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kimberly and Mark Green, of TN and Wendy F. Provencher, of Lawton; his brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Lela Wright, of KS; two sisters, Ruth Denny, of KS and Helen Jolly, of WA; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

My Beloved Husband Larry Lee Wright, Passed away , at 4:06 p.m., April 4, 2017, at the Baptist Integress Hospital, in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. He had suffered a short illness, prior to his death.

He will be laid to rest in Lawton, Ok. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, under the directions of Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
