Paul K. Riemer Sr., 71, of 520 N. 5th St. died at 10:20 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Riemer, who was born in Germany, was a past member of the American Legion and was a retired iron worker.
His wife, Hannah, died in 1929.
He is survived by one son, Paul K. Jr., of Pleasant Plains; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Livesley, of Seattle, Wash.; and Mrs. Ed Pasco, of Washington, Ga.; two step-brothers, Erick Schmidt, of Springfield; and Fritz Schmidt, of Florida; one half-brother, Herman Schmidt, of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services were held at Bisch Memorial Home.
Burial was in Indian Point Cemetery.
