Gwendolyn Gieseke Shoup passed away in Minneapolis, MN on the morning of January 2, 2016.
Gwen was born on July 10, 1931, and grew up on her parents’ apple orchard, spending most of her life in Yakima and Bellevue, WA. Gwen attended school in Moxee and the old Highland High School. She had a passion for designing clothing and interior home designs. Golfing and painting were her favorite hobbies.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Golda (Scott) Gieseke, sister Geraldine Gieseke, and son Sheldon Rodenberg.
She is survived by her four children, Kathy (Tom) Robinson, Greg (Laurie) Rodenberg, Jayson Gaver, and Pauli (Keith) Payne. She also has eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Gwen is also survived by two brothers, Roger (Helen) Gieseke and Jerry (Joan) Gieseke.
