Ruth Feldhake,97, of Dover, NJ, passed away on Saturday April 8, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem. She was born on December 5, 1919 in New York, daughter of the late Hugh and Ruth (Turner) Dobbins. She was the wife of the late G. Duncan Feldhake, Sr. They were married for over 50 years until his death in 2001. Ruth was a medical secretary at the Dover General Hospital retiring in 1999.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wharton, NJ. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Ruth grew up in New York City and spent the summers at the Jersey Shore. She enjoyed a full and healthy life and was devoted to spending time with her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Scott and his wife Aubrey, Jodie and her partner, Scott, and Kelly and her husband Corey, and great grandchildren, Jon, Max, Dani, Zack, and Abbie. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lynn Martenis, son Duncan Feldhake Jr., and a brother Frank Dobbins.
Graveside Services will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Locust Hill Cemetery 168 N. Sussex St. Dover, NJ.
