William Conrad Cessna was born in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania and died in Banks Township, Indiana County. He was married twice, his first wife was Martha Jane Coy and his second wife was Lucy Jane 'Jennie' Coy (Martha Jane's first cousin) . He also had a child out of wedlock with his sister-in-law, Emma Coy, after the death of Martha and before the marriage to Jennie.
He had five children with Martha, one with Emma and seven with Jennie.∼Mr. William C. Cessna, of Banks township, died at his home of Monday, aged 45 years. The deceased was a victim of heart trouble. He is survived by a wife and eight children. Interment was made at the Fairview church, in Grant township, on Tuesday.
