BAZINE- Gertrude Marie Sostad Lunsford. 90, died Nov. 1, 1994, at Oakland Park Nursing Home, Thief River Falls. Minn.
She was born Jan. 31, 1904, at Yankton, S.D., the daughter of John and Mary Peters Gasper. A Bazine resident since 1960s, recently moving to Minnesota, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bazine First Baptist Church and the Bazine Golden Seniors Club.
In November 1926 she married Christian Sostad. In October 1972 she married Stanley Lunsford at Bazine. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a son, Dale Sostad, Holdredge, Neb.: four daughters, Bernice Wagner, Middle River, Minn., Dorothy Greanead, Cleburne, Texas, Hazel Baldwin, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Caroline Pollard, Phoenix, Ariz.: four stepchildren, 29 grandchildren: numerous great great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Private family graveside service will be held Tuesday in the Bazine Cemetery.
