Albert A. Nyilas, 55, of 2117 S. 4th St. died at 3 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital.

Service director at the Rail Splitters Motor Sales Co., Mr. Nyilas was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the K of C Council No. 364.

He was born in Springfield, the son of George and Sophia Sera Nyilas.

He was married to Betty J. (Schantz) on June 6, 1942.

Surviving are his wife, Betty J.; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Dianne) Cycholl and Mrs. Thomas (Sharon) Power, of Springfield; two grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Sophia Nyilas, of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hughes, of Springfield; one uncle; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
