Entertainer. She was a member of the von Trapp Family singing group who inspired the film and play "The Sound of Music". The youngest of 7 children of Georg von Trapp and Agathe Whitehead von Trapp, and the step-daughter of Maria von Trapp, she was born in the town of Klosterneuburg, near Vienna, Austria. She lost her mother to scarlet fever not long after her birth. Martina was portrayed as "little Gretl" in the film version of "The Sound of Music" by actress Kym Karath. She was the wife of Canadian Jean Dupire.
