Daniel's parents were Daniel WOLEDGE and Anne WOLEDGE nee HACON. He married Sarah WARREN on the 3rd of Dec 1804 in St Mary's Church, Lambeth, England. Together they had 10 children including the Victorian artist Frederick William WOLEDGE who was famous for his artworks of the Brighton-Hove area. His youngest son Charles Wilson Howard WOLEDGE migrated to New Zealand where he lived the rest of his life.According to the 1841, 1846 and 1852 census' re made his living as a lodge keeper.

He was buried on the 6 Mar 1855. His wife Sarah was buried the same day.
