Ruth L. Rose, 87, of Marinette, WI passed away May 1st, 2017, at Bay Harbor in Suamico, WI. She was born April 5th, 1930, in Marinette, to the late Frank and Dallice (Martin) Hill.
Ruth had worked as a waitress for many years at Olson’s Restaurant, most recently at Dan’s Family Restaurant. She was a member of the Loomis Auxiliary Legion and the Rebekah Lodge.
Ruth is survived by her son Jerry (Cathy) Binder of Sterling, IL; three grandchildren: Amee Binder of Chicago, IL; Joshua Binder of Geneva, IL and Shanna Leonard of Menominee, MI; great-grandsons: Spencer and Wesley;
a brother, Raymond (Phyllis) Hill;
two sisters: Geneva Olson and Beatrice (Jim) Dietrich; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son- and daughter-in-law, Michael (Sheryl) Leonard; two brothers: Ralph and Gerald "Jerry" Hill {3/7/1923-9/6/2010-Kalamazoo, MI}; and sister, Olive Petcka.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 7th, at 2 p.m. at Pioneer Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jon Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
