He is the second son of Reuben Henry Botters and Eunice Eddins Botters.
He is survived by his wife and their three Sons, their families & 5 Grand Children. Children & Grandchildren. He is also survived by his Brother & Sister in Law and their son, his family & daughter and her family.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Air force, a graduate of the University of Alabama Engineering School, a life long Electrical Engineer with the Alabama Power Company, a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Bessemer now Shepard of the Valley Presbyterian in McCalla, a life long Boy Scout and Volunteer Scout Leader in the Birmingham Area Council, and a Great Dad and Granddad.
Services will be held Elmwood Chapel Visitation May 9, 2017 1:00 – 2:00 PM funeral at 2:00 pm -
