Paul was born in Quincy, MA on December 9, 1943 to the late Albert Douglas and Margaret Agnes (Speed) Godfrey. He was raised and educated in Quincy, MA, pursued a Bachelor Degree from Northeastern University and served in the US Army between 1965 and 1968. Paul worked in the financial banking industry for his entire career until retirement in 2007. He and Jean volunteered for many years at Dana Farber Cancer Institute giving back to an organization that means so much to them.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. His hobbies included golf, traveling and being with those he loved. His family invites you to pay your respects during visitation hours on Sunday, March 11th, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 13th, 10 am at the funeral home and the burial will be private.
