Patrick A. Tobin, 62, of Peshtigo, WI passed away May 6th, 2017, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI. He was born June 27th, 1954, son of the late William and Joan (Gaeth) Tobin.
Patrick married the former Elizabeth "Betsy" Lajcak on October 15th, 1977, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Moquah, Wis.
Up until his illness, Patrick had been currently employed at Frank's Logging and Badger Paper Mill. Patrick was a proud grandfather and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Little River Country Club, an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed going up north to camp, and traveling out West fishing with friends.
He was a huge sports fan of the Bears, Bulls, and Cubs and a long-time basketball and football coach for St. Mary's, Peshtigo Middle School, and Peshtigo High School. Pat also participated in area men's leagues including softball, basketball, and bowling.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Tobin;
a son, William Tobin of Peshtigo, WI;
two daughters: Emily (Kevin) Poraczky of Wilmington, N.C. and Chelsey (Travis) Mathieson of West Brookfield, Mass;
two sisters: Linn Tobin and Catherine (Carl) Malke, both of Peshtigo, WI;
and two grandchildren: Elliott and Lincoln.
He is further survived by two aunts: Kay (Skip) Waddingham and Lori Lund;
a cousin, Mary Hahn; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, May 12th, at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until memorial services at 6 p.m
