Davey (Rita) of Cincinnati, OH, Nancy L. Jackson (Robert) of Dallas, TX, Suzi Generalovich (Mark) of Sharon, PA, Betty Lynn Davey-Pepka (Jeff) of Denver, CO; loving grand- mother of Nancy Carroll, Richard Jackson, Diana Stehling, the late Scott Davey, Bridget Kamp, Tiffanee Davey, Tracy Wilson, Tara Generalovich, Ben Pepka, and Nathan Pepka (Lori); great- grandmother of Zachary, Piper and Presley Carroll, Jacob and Madison Kamp, Tanna Wilson, Hugo and London Stehling. Betty Jane was born in South Side of Pittsburgh, March 7, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Ida M. Baldinger; sister of the late Ida M. Edgington and the late Edward Baldinger. She graduated from South Hills High School in 1940, Spring Class. She married John Thomas Davey in 1945. Betty Jane spent her life volunteering to help others. She was a Girl Scout Leader and Neighborhood Chairman in Carrick; Member of the Mothers Club in Carrick; Past Mother Advisor and Board Member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, Brentwood Assembly #60; Past Matron and District Deputy Grand Matron, Order of Eastern Star, Carrick Chapter #231, Pittsburgh; Member of the Order of Eastern Star, Loyalty Chapter, Westminster, CO; Sovereign Protector and Member of the Dames of Malta, McKeesport Chapter; Member, Elder and Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Church Board member of the Concord Presbyterian Church, Carrick; South Hills High School Alumni Association, Active member; Election Board officer at voting polls; Bethel Park Garden Club member; Medical secretary, Church Secretary, and School guard in Bethel Park, PA. Services will be at Concord Presbyterian Church on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Garden of Peace, Pleasant Hills on Curry Hollow Rd.
