Bobby Gene Seifert

Bobby Gene Seifert, 73, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away May 18, 2017.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 25, 1943 to Werner and Iris Seifert.

He was married to Deloris Seifert for 26 years until her death on May 16, 2006. Bobby graduated from Lutheran High and had a career in the Maritime Industry for 41 years. He belonged to ILA 1351 Clerks and Checkers Union.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 554, League City, Texas, Walter M. Pierson Lodge 1339 A.F. and A.M., Arabia Shriners and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry S.J., USA.

Bobby had a passion for the Houston Texans and the Houston Astros. He also enjoyed playing shuffleboard at the Legion.

He was preceded in in death by wife Deloris Seifert; brother Werner (Sonny) Seifert; and parents Werner and Iris Seifert.

He is survived by children Thomas Seifert and Maranda Seifert; 2 step-children; sisters Anna Smith, Carol Lea and husband Roy and Sharon Cunningham and husband Rick; sweethearts Susan Harrigan and Sharon Glaze; longtime friends Billy Griffin and Robert Schroeder; best friend Tony Hughs and wife Virginia; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank everyone at Paramount Senior Care for all of your love and care that was shown as he worked toward recovery.

The family will welcome friends Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Graveside services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm in Forest Park East Cemetery
