SHELBY- Warren Edward Click, 92, died Thurs., May 25, 2017, at his home. A native of Del Rio, Tenn., he was the son of the late William Creed and Nellie Painter Click. Ed Served in the Navy during WWII.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Click Abercrombie and his step-mother Mary Helen Painter Click.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his half-brother, William Creed Click Jr., nephews, Harley Abercrombie and wife Janell of Shelby, Terry Abercrombie Sr. and wife Lisa of Boiling Springs; great-nephew, Terry Abercrombie Jr.; great-nieces, Jamie, Meganne and Heidi Abercrombie; and great-great-nephew, Haydn Abercrombie. The family would like to thank Ed’s caregivers, Cathy Van Dyke, Debra Larro, Shanti Jadoobia and hospice nurse, Annie Montgomery.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: A private graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31 in Cleveland Memorial Park at Veterans and their spouses Section plot.
OFFICIATING: Rev. Dr. Terry Floyd officiated
MEMORIALS: In Lieu of flowers, the family wished for donations to be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150

Note: He was never married. He worked at Ora Mill before entering Navy during WWW II. He once was an avid oil painter. He loved to fish and walk his dog.
