Franklin Alder, 71, died Friday at Paradise Valley Hospital after a long illness. He was a resident of National City and had lived in San Diego County for nine ears. He was a native of Hagerstown, Maryland. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and stepson, Edward Muzika of Santa Monica, California. Cremation was handled by Humphrey Paradise Valley Mortuary.
