William M. Aman, 88, of Daggett, Mich., passed away on Monday, June 12th, 2017, at Country Villa Assisted Living in Pulaski, Wis. He was born March 17th, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wis., to the late Mike and Ann (Mathias) Aman Jr. William worked for Mercury Marine for many years in maintenance but did so much more, like driving boats for their commercials. An avid outdoorsman, William loved hunting and skeet shooting. He further enjoyed reading. William is survived by one son, James Aman of Green Bay, Wis.; four daughters: Shelby (Allen) Stepniak of Weyauwega, Wis., Susan (Michael) Noel of Marinette, Wis., Darla (Walter Theuerkauf) Gerondale of Menominee, Mich., and Lisa (Ron) Cook of Marinette, Wis.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is further survived by one brother, Michael (Maggie) Aman; two sisters: Lorraine Drum and Betty (Bob) Klitzke; and many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by one sister, Genevieve Mueller; one brother, John Aman; and two brothers-in-law: Myron Drum and Ed Mueller. Visitation for William will be on Monday, June 19th, 2017, at Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home beginning at 11 a.m. until time of Prayers of transfer at 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Stephenson, Mich., with Fr. Ron Timock officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Banat, Mich. (Marinette-Menominee Eagle Herald, June 16, 2017)
