Funeral services for William Edward Dyess, 82, of 1427 Bonita, who died yesterday after an illness of several weeks, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel.

Officiating will be the Rev. A. H. Owens of the Second Baptist Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park after graveside rites by Independence Masonic Lodge 1337, AF&AM.

A retired carpenter, Dyess was a member of the local carpenter's union and of the Second Baptist Church and was a Scottish Rite Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel; a daughter, Miss Helen Dyess of Corpus Christi; a son, Derald Dyess of North Highlands, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Martin and Mrs. Betty George, both of Beaumont.
