Ruth Amy Quimby died peacefully at her home in Newport, NH on July 10, 2017. She was born on April 4, 1938 in Bradford, NH to the late Cyrus A. and Alma C. (Fisher) Jones.

Ruth was raised and educated in the Bradford area graduating from Simonds Free High School in 1957.

She and her husband raised their family in the area and she has lived here all of her life.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 34 years in 1993, Euclide Quimby. She is also predeceased by her son, Randy Quimby, brothers, Frank, Charlie, and Fred Jones, and sisters, Linnie Howe and Marie Cummemy.

Surviving family members include sons, Frank Quimby and wife Patty of Newport and Euclide Quimby and wife Anne of Claremont, sister, Marjorie Tellor, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members.

Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
