Marie M. Willison, 83, Marinette, WI passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at BAMC. She was born on February 27, 1934, to the late William and Louise (Gypp) Barrette in Marinette.
She attended area schools.
On October 24, 1970, Marie married Herman Willison in Menominee, MI; he preceded her in death on December 27, 1980.
She had worked at the Dome Motel for over 18 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and was an avid music collector.
Marie is survived by three daughters: Maude McKenna of Everette, WA; Linda Bell of New York, and Valerie McKenna of Marinette, WI;
a half-brother, LeRoy Jefferson of Cashton, Wis.;
five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren
and her cat, Cashmere.
In addition to her parents and husband Herman;
she was preceded in death by an infant son Joseph~~ [buried by maternal great-grandfather Andrew Gypp]
and daughter Linn~~[buried by maternal great-grandmother Anna Gypp]
and Joanne Virginia [(m. 1970 Terry Wescom) (m. 2002 Arthur Simoneau)];
a brother, Roger Barrette;
and two step brothers, Homer LaPierre and Thomas LaPierre.
Visitation will be at the Thielen Funeral Home on Friday, July 14, from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7p.m.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
