The daughter of Elkanah Watson and Rachel Smith, she married Aaron Ward in June 1820. They had eleven children, ten daughters (three died young) and one son Charles Watson Ward, who died at age 16.
Her father and mother-in-law, Moses Ward and Anna Sherwood Ward,are buried in Ossining.
