Robert is the son of Jesse B. Flint & Lida (Smith) Flint. He is their 3rd child. He had 3 brothers, Waldo Leroy,Hollis Chester, Jesse Benton, and 2 sisters, Freda V., & Jean Elizabeth Flint.
In the 1930 census he was still living with his parents in Humboldt, Kansas and was working as a bookeeper for a local oil refinery.
In 1938 he married Aileen Grimsley, March 5 1938 in Amarilo, Potter county, Texas.
At the time of his death, he was a Chief Dispatcher at Trunkline Gas Company in Harris County, Texas.
He died of cardiac arrest at Diagnostic Center Hospital in Houston, Texas at the age of 72 on May 21, 1979.
