Birmingham relatives have been advised of the death at Jacksonville,Florida, Sunday of Emerson Sims, 22, member of the Marine Aviation Corps. Death resulted from an accident, details of which have not been learned here.
A telegram telling of his death was received by his mother, Mrs. J. E.Sims, 1756 Jefferson Avenue, who, with a sister, Mrs. Ed Hand,
Birmingham, and his widow, living in Atlanta, survive.
His father was J. E. Sims, who was connected with the Birmingham Electric Company sales department, until his death about three years
ago.
The body will be brought to Birmingham for funeral and burial, time and place to be announced.
