RAYMOND D. BARNES

Services for Raymond D. Barnes, who died Sunday at his home, 92 Midland avenue, Highland Park, after a long illness, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Harper & Mulligan chapel at 16450 Hamilton avenue. Burial will be in the Roseland Park Cemetery. Mr. Barnes, a plumbing contractor, was born in Petoskey, Mich., in 1892 and had lived in the Detroit area 34 years. He was a member of the Highland Park Exchange club and a veteran of World War I. His wife, Martha; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Pearson, a son, Corp. Ted E. Barnes; his father, Alfred Schlappi, of Petoskey; a brother, Forrest, and two sisters, Mrs. Leroy Greiner and Mrs. Ray Kirkpatrick, survive."
