Lela Faye Aldridge passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2002 at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 75. Faye was born August 27, 1926 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Faye was always a loving wife, mother and grandmother and nothing gave her more pleasure in life than being with her family. She will be sadly missed by all that loved and knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William "Billy" Aldridge; her parents, Wain and Ollie Watson; her brother Hugh Watson and her sister Lila Long. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Homer) Echoles of Corpus Christi, Texas and Brenda Aldridge of Kyle, Texas; four grandchildren Janice (Mark) Wilder of San Antonio, Texas Marsha Palmer of Corpus Christi, Texas, Shannon Bader and Chase Easley of Kyle Texas; and several dear nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2002 at Seaside Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2002 at Seaside Funeral Home with an interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
