On Friday evening, June llth, Miss Gertrude Caywood became the bride of Mr. Eldor Johnson at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Caywood on Baxter street road. The home was tastefully decorated in a color scheme of pink and white. Only the immediate relatives and a few friends were present. The ceremony was performed with Rev. J. M. Campbell of Missionary Baptist church of Granby, officiating. The couple were not attended. Miss Christine Peek played softly "Lohengrin's Wedding March" and Mr. C. E. Caywood and Mrs. Alice Peek sang "The End of a Perfect Day." The bride moved to Neosho from Alden, Kansas, in March, with her parents. She is a product of the Alden high school, having graduated with the class of '25 and is a highly respected young lady. The groom has been the principal in the Alden high school and is a graduate of Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas, having received his A. B. degree in 1925. After a honeymoon in the Ozarks, the happy young couple will go to Sterling, Kansas, where the groom expects to take up insurance and in September they will be at home at [illegible] Kansas, where the groom is Superintendent elect.
