Sister Daisy B. McPhail was the loving daughter of Lide A. and Janie Peterson Hawkins. She was born in Darlington County, SC. She grew up with her parents, siblings and other extended family members. They were taught to love each other and themselves. She was a hard worker inside and outside the home. She was a loving mother and worked to help provide for her family. She was a respected employee at Coker College. She worked as an Environmental Service Specialist. After 35 years of dedicated service she retired. She will be missed because she impacted the life of many. Those surviving to cherish her legacy are her husband of the home James Wesley McPhail, her 7 children, 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandchildren; 2 siblings, 1 aunt, 4 sisters-in-law, 5 best friends and other nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
