Dorothy attended Catholic school and then went on to Marinette Public High so that she could pursue her love of sports.
On November 28, 1940, Dorothy married her childhood sweetheart, Leonard J. Neville at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. They enjoyed 43 years together and are now united once again. Dorothy was a wonderful homemaker for most of her years, but before adopting their children she worked as a seamstress at Lauerman's and packaged at Scott Paper during World War II. Dorothy was a fantastic hostess, loved cooking and baking, socializing, playing cards, watching the Packers play, and was always happy to see a friendly face. She was a mother to many, the embodiment of selflessness, unconditional love and strength. Dorothy has left us with many fond memories, words of wisdom, and high morals. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Peacefully at rest now, she was preceded in death by her parents: Bernette M. Fronsee (Kuffel) and Peter J. Fronsee [died 1968]; her husband, Leonard Neville; her son Leonard Neville Jr.; and her four siblings: Estelle Colvin, Marian Reinke, Peter Fronsee Jr., and June Schomaker.
She leaves behind her daughter, Susan Beno (Neville);
grandsons: Christopher Olson, Tony (Alicia) Olson, and Frank Beno;
her granddaughter, Jamie Neville;
and great-grandchildren: Johnathan and Kaylie Olson.
Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Friday, September 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. with the service to follow. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery on Saturday at 11 a.m.
