Eddie D. Darnall of Cozad passed away August 31, 2017 at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln at the age of 51. Eddie was born January 4, 1966 at Cozad, Nebraska to Glen and Rebecca (Byrum) Darnall. He attended school at Eustis, Nebraska. Eddie worked for several construction companies around Nebraska until a car accident left him confined to a wheelchair. He enjoyed fishing with his best friend, Gary Banzhaf, watching Husker football and spending time with family and friends. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tammy Allbright and nephew, Michael Beachel. Survivors include his brother, Fred Darnall and wife Patty of Gothenburg; sister, Melinda Elitist of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Richard Allbright of Cozad; 12 nieces and nephews; best friend, Gary Banzhaf and wife Sharol of Cozad; and many other relatives and friends. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with Pastor Doug Smith officiating.
