Fifth of twelve children born to Ernest C. & Mary E. (Spitzer) Kuykendall. Blaine was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from American Safety Razor. He enjoyed hunting. He was also a devout Christian.

Blaine is survived by his wife of 64 years, Velma; two sons and two daughters; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his only remaining sibling, Ernie.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Dorman, Bill, Hayes, Ray, Tom and Paul Kuykendall; sisters Leoda Abendschoen and Juanita Snoots; and two infant siblings.

I only met Uncle Blaine twice, but I could tell he was as nice as could be! I wish I'd been able to know him better.

In the photo he is in the front row, far left.
