Mrs. Mary C. Murren, widow of Jacob Murren, died Friday night at her home, near McSherrystown, from neuralgia of the the heart after an illness of about a month from a complication of diseases, aged 72 years, 7 months and 27 days. The deceased was a daughter of the late Bernard and Margaret (Kintzler) Aumen, originally, from Germany, who resided for many years near Conewago. She was a member of the Sacred Heart church, Conewago, and of several societies of that church. Surviving her are the following children: James, Conewago township; Joseph, Centennial; Mrs. Vitus Smith, Brushtown; Mrs. Clarence Lawrence, New Oxford R. D; Mrs. Geo. Klunk, near McSherrystown; Mrs. Nathaniel Miller, New Oxford; Mrs. Augustus Shorb, near Mt. Rock; and Miss Emma, at home. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kuhn and Mrs. William Stansbury, and one brother, Sylvester Aumen, all of Littlestown; and by 45 grandchildren. The funeral was held on Wednesday morning at Conewago chapel with requiem high mass, conducted by the Rev. Fr. Chas. Koch.
