EFTON CLINGMAN
Efton Clingman, about 48, died at a hospital in Bell. Cal., yesterday, following a year's illness. Mr. Clingman was a former resident of Springfield, where he was employed by the YMCA, and of Pleasant Hope, where he farmed. About 10 years ago he moved with his family to California, and operated a hardware store in Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; on son, Robert Clingman, and one grandson. His brother-in-law, Walter Jackson, lives at 926 East Pacific here.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon in Bell.
