Lillie Marie Rudolph, 89, of Marinette, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Bay Area Medical Center. She was born on August 22, 1928, in Escanaba, Mich., to Nelson and Celina (King) Sorault. Lillie grew up in Escanaba, and moved to Marinette as a young adult, where she spent the rest of her life. She worked in the circulation department at the EagleHerald for 15 years, and on September 25, 1948, Lillie married Richard Herman Rudolph in Marinette. Lillie enjoyed gardening and bingo, and she loved spending time with her family, especially around the holidays. She was loved by everyone, and was a mother to all. Lillie was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Lillie is survived by her children: Allan Rudolph, Terry (Brenda) Rudolph, Kim (Ruth) Rudolph, Pam Rudolph and Scott Rudolph; adopted daughter, Mary Edelbeck; grandchildren: Christian Robinson, Nicholas Rudolph and Nicole Rudolph (fiancé, Michael Merchant); her “little angel,” great-grandson, Eli; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her brothers: John Sorault and Arthur Sorault; her twin sister, Lillian Anderson; and her parents. Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 4 until 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev.
