Actress. She will be remembered for her "scream queen" roles in several Hammer Films features of which starred Christopher Lee. Born Suzan Maxine Farmer, in Maidstone, Kent, England, she initiated her career in entertainment at the age of sixteen with a minor role in the British picture "The Supreme Suspect" (1958). This was followed with "The Crimson Blade" and Hammer Films' "The Devil-Ship Pirates" (1964), in which she appeared opposite Christopher Lee. She also shared the screen with Lee in the Hammer pictures "Dracula: Prince of Darkness" (1966) and "Rasputin: The Mad Monk" (1966). She will also be remembered by movie audiences for her role in the Boris Karloff film "Die, Monster, Die!" (1965). Among her abundant TV credits include "The Saint", "Secret Agent", "Man in a Suitcase" and "Coronation Street." She was formerly married to actor Ian McShane.
