For seven seasons (1947 to 1953 and 1958 to 1959), he played at the right-wing position in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins. Born Duncan Robert Fisher, he began his career with the Regina Pats of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 1944 and was promoted to the NHL with New York during the playoffs in 1947. He was a contributor to the Rangers' reaching of the Stanley Cup Finals in 1951 and after he was acquired by Boston, he produced a career-high 15 goals in 1952. In 275 career games, he compiled 45 goals and 70 assists. After retiring from hockey, he worked for the City of Regina.
