Ruth Parker, 85, of Rogersville, passed away Sunday, October 8th, 2017.
Ms. Parker’s visitation will be Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A graveside will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Civitan Cemetery. Pat Driskell will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Balentine, Humberto Santamaria, Dwight Broadfoot, Eli Henson, Royce Richardson and Randy Butler.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Annice Goode; son, Dennis Parker; grandsons, Tim and Michael Folks; brothers, James, Clinton, Shelby and Ray Goode; sisters, Joyce Young and Bessie Williams; and very special friend, Ned Grigsby. She is survived by her children, Emmett (Debbie) Parker, Jr., Reba Palmer, Becky (Randy) Butler, JoAnn Grisham, Roger (Peggy) Parker and Cynthia Balentine; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great - great grandchild; brothers, Marshall (Anna) Goode and David Goode; and numerous nieces and nephews.
