She began her career as a contract player in the Tony Curtis film 'The Boston Strangler' (1968). Among other TV shows she appeared in were 'Batman', 'Lancer', 'Daniel Boone', 'The Young Rebels', 'Room 222', ''Emergency!', 'S.W.A.T.', 'Police Woman', 'Fantasy Island' and 'Remington Steele'. Baur, who was a first cousin of 'Cagney & Lacey' star Sharon Gless, died after a lengthy illness.
