A conductor and arranger, Conn started with Carl Huff's band and later joined the staff of WBBM in Chicago where he conducted orchestra arrangements and set up music programs. He moved to Hollywood and was the music arranger for CBS and KNX and also played ‘Monday Night at the Palladium.’ Conn died in a car accident.
