Marybelle Burke, 84, of Stoutland, died Thursday morning, June 12, 2014, at Christian Health and Rehabilitation Center South in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 15, 1930, in Barnsdall, Okla. to Gilbert and Eula Kissinger Brown. On Feb. 3, 1947, she married Freeman Burke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Freeman, on Nov. 21, 1997; two sons, Jimmy John and Larry Burke; four sisters == Helen Brown, Delores Thomas, Glenna McDaniel, and Carmel Scantlin.
She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also worked as a nurse's aide at Christian Health Care, Breech Medical Center, and at Richland Care Center throughout the years.

She was saved at the age of 9 and was a longtime member of High Point Baptist Church.
