Funeral services for the Rev. Jack Belew, 67, of Hartselle Route One were
conducted Wednesday, January 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with
the Revs. Charles Maples and Eric Bowling officiating.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
The Rev. Belew died Monday, January 6, at his daughter's residence in Decatur.
He was a retired Southern Baptist minister with 40 years in the ministry.
He is survived by one son, Jackie Belew of Falkville; one daughter, Linda Belew
of Decatur; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Ronny Abercrombie, Alvin Abercrombie, Keith Abercrombie,
Christian Smith, Jeff Terry, Greg Price, Glenn Price, Ted Cooper, Wilburn Hill
and Leonard Tucker.
