US Congressman. Elected as a Democrat to represent Ohio's 4th District in the United States House of Representatives, he served from 1907 to 1911. After graduating from the Cincinnati Law School in 1889, he was admitted to the bar in Ohio, and became an attorney in Celina. He was elected to Congress in 1906 and reelected in 1908. He declined to become a candidate in 1910.
