Norma Lee Anderson Stuckey, 83, died April 14, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Topeka, the daughter of Chester Leonard and Allie Lee Weekly Anderson. In 1941, she graduated from Wichita East High School and University of Kansas in 1945. She was a resident of Hutchinson.

She belonged to First Presbyterian Church, Pi Beta Phy Sorority; past member of the Wichita Junior League; served as an elder on the church session; and a Red Cross volunteer for more than 35 years, serving on the board of directors of the Reno County American Red Cross and the former Midway Kansas Chapter of the American Red Cross.

On June 26, 1945, she married Frank Albert Stuckey in Wichita. He died April 17, 2007.

Survivors include: two sons, Frank and wife, Debbie, Hutchinson, and Sam and wife, Sherry, Cypress, Texas; a daughter, Susan Stuckey Sully and husband, Robert, Montecito, Calif.; grandchildren, Carey Stuckey Beck and her husband, John, Oak Park, Ill., Allie Stuckey Archer and husband, Kyle, Kansas City, Mo., Bradley and Taylor Stuckey, Cypress, Texas; great-granddaughter, Vivian Beck, Oak Park, Ill.; niece, Becky Worrall; and nephew, F.M. Jeanes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Jeanne Anderson Jeanes.

Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday April 27 at First Presbyterian Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Tim Soule presiding. Private family graveside burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday April 23 through Thursday April 26 at Elliott Mortuary. Casket will be closed. Family will greet friends following the service in the church parlor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the church or Reno County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
